13/09/2015    Final Opponents
Kilmihil will face Corofin in the Intermediate Final following their victory over Kilfenora this afternoon.

13/09/2015    Semi-Final Victory
A score line of 3-9 to 0-5 would suggest an easy victory but that was far from the case as Clarecastle put up a brave battle for most of the game. Kilmihil led 0-7 to 0-3 at half time. Clarecastle reduced the margin with a point after five minutes as Kilmihil struggled to get a grip on the game. The defining moment came in the 13th minute when Shane Egan was fowled and David goaled for the penalty spot. Clarecastle replied with a point but that was to be their last score as Kilmihil completely dominated the final quarter. We now await the result of the other Semi-Final to find out who we will be facing in the Final in two weeks time.
Scorers: David Egan, Martin O'Leary & Timmy Ryan 1-1 each, Paul Reidy 0-3, Shane Egan 0-2 & David Ryan 0-1.

15/08/2015    Intermediate Championship
They say goals win games and that was certainly the case in Doonbeg this afternoon when Kilmihil overcame Naomh Eoin in the Intermediate Championship scoring 4-11 to 0-14.
Playing with the aid of the breeze in the first half Kilmihil got down to business straight from the throw in, David Egan had the ball in the net inside the first minute when he collected a rebound off the post and fired an unstoppable shot to the net. Points from David Ryan and Paul Reidy followed and from there on Naomh Eoin were playing catch up. Half time score: Kilmihil 2-07 Naomh Eoin 0-6.
Kilmihil continued to dominate the second half and while the outcome was never in doubt Naomh Eoin put in a spirited performance scoring a number of excellent points. Goals from Shane Egan and Paul Reidy secured a comfortable victory with the final score: Kilmihil 4-11 Naomh Eoin 0-14.
Scorers: Paul Reidy 1-4, David Egan 2-0, Martin O'Leary 0-4, Shane Egan 1-0, & 0-1 each from David Ryan, Stan Lineen & Conor Egan.

26/07/2015    Intermediate victory
Kilmihil got off to a great start in the Intermediate Championship with a comprehensive victory over Liscannor at wet and windy Miltown Malbay this evening. Paul Reidy marked his comeback with two great goals, the first just before half time when he connected with a long ball into the goalmouth and knocked it into the net. With the breeze behind them Liscannor started the second half in determined fashion but their efforts came to nothing as the Kilmihil defence held solid and when Paul Reidy got possession with just the goalkeeper to beat there was only going to be one outcome. He shot low to the corner and the goalkeeper could do nothing about it, game over. Final score: Kilmihil 2-10 Liscannor 0-08.

27/06/2015    Junior League Div 6 Semi Final
Kilmihil advanced to the Div. 6 Final following a dramatic finish to the Semi Final. Michael Cusack's had the advantage of a strong breeze in the first half and made ample use of it to lead at half time on the score of 2-6 to 0-4. Paul Finucane started the rally with a point followed by goals from Sean King and Devon O'Sullivan. Cusack's fought back and levelled after Paul Finucane had given Kilmihil a one point advantage.
It took a late point from Ronan O'Flaherty to seal victory and secure promotion to Div. 5 next year. Next weekend we face O'Curry's in the Final at Doonbeg.
